Festivals, Regattas & other Baltimore Attractions

Baltimore is a delightful fishing and sailing village. It has four pubs including the newly refurbished Jacobs Bar on the waterfront. Baltimore hosts many fine quality restaurants to suit all pockets. La Joile Brise and Chez Yohen are both recommended in Rick Steins book "Seafood Lovers Guide". There are year round ferry services to Sherkin Island (white sands) and Cape Clear (bird sanctuary), as well as summer trips to the Fastnet Rock and other islands. The O'Driscolls Castle overlooking the harbour has been renovated and is open in the summer months.
