Gubbeen Ham is produced locally in West Cork and the quality and flavour means that nothing need be added to produce a delicious meal. Gubbeen marinate their ham in a brine made up of white wine, herbs, pepper and juniper and the taste is unrivalled.
How to cook Gubbeen Ham
Score the fat, drissle it with honey and cook at 190C for 20 to 30 mins depending on the size of the ham. It is delicious served with sauté potatoes cooked with red onions and herbs and a salad of baby leaves.
